ASCII art

This time of year in the old ISTC and Telex exchange we would be sending out ASCII art tapes to all the overseas stations... I was reminded of this by Greg Martyn of PixelITT in his reply to my Christmas message this year lamenting the demise of "telex art" . ... so I found a site that commemorates this arcane greeting form, click here , for more art.

Banner print, ASCII ART and more.
Thanks Kim for your comment. I regularly use http://www.network-science.de/ascii/ in my daily work to put big print in text documents. (Text, smaller file size docs, without formating or pics but very useful for info recording.
For the wiki of ascii art here's the link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ASCII_art
As an old BASIC hacker I've been searching for a banner print program like the old ISTC long banner print used to occasionally post messages on the walls like the "No No, Come back Monday," which was used to great effect deflecting enquirers on one occcasion.
All the best again for Christmas.
Greg
