Avalon Katoomba
Dinner with Monica and Gerard at the new Avalon Restaurant in the Old Savoy Builing in Katoomba. A fun night and it was good to catch up with them both. Gerard was running a Colonial Photo Studio at Echo Point. A new business that he started after the closure of the Old Sydney Town site at Somersby.

Canberra Christmas Canberra Yacht Club
Our annual family gathering in Canberra to celebrate Christmas. This year was at the Canberra Yacht Club on the shores of Lake Burley Griffin. Always fun to catch up with Mark and Rox and the kids. A chance for seeing Bob and Shirley and all at the one time. A great tradition that started with a brief visit to Canberra by mum and dad on their way back from Bega one Christmas, sometime late last millenium. ... and we just keep it going.

Spring Life Lyric - J Sheridan Moore
My great great gandfather's book Spring Life Lyric. Have a browse when you get a spare minute. I do have the original and this is not the full text ...poems only. The prose is much more interesting.
This was sourced from the site Sydney Uni site. Plenty of old aussie lit books if that is of any interest.
